Time Series
The NCEA Level 3 Mathematics course has a Time Series Achievement Standard that has an internal assessment component. Students are required to collect data, present all the relevant time series information and then make predictions on the future direction of the data. This booklet presents boht the Additive Model for Time Series data and the Least Squares Method for the calculations. There are also two exemplars. These are internal assessments that both received excellence for their writers. It gives you an example of how to structure an excellent internal assessment survery.
