The Whizz Kids Worksheets
Mighty Maths is a structured series of workbooks written by New Zealand's premier mathematics author Kim Freeman. This is the first book in the Mighty Maths series for 9 - 12 year olds. Inside this book there are 30 pages of basic number work. Students should try and complete one sheet per session then plot their progress on the graph at the back of the book. The pages are fun and reinforce and supplement what is being covered at school. -

AS90152 Solve Right Angled Triangles
This booklet is designed for the NCEA Level 1 Achievement Standard for graphs and teaches how to find unknown side lengths and angles of right angled triangles. AS90194 Determine Probabilities
This booklet is designed for the NCEA Level 1 Achievement Standard for probability and covers probabilities in a range of situations, tree diagrams and how to use them. There are specific achievement, merit and excellence examples and exercises along with a practice examination based on a previous external paper. -
Time Series
The NCEA Level 3 Mathematics course has a Time Series Achievement Standard that has an internal assessment component. Students are required to collect data, present all the relevant time series information and then make predictions on the future direction of the data. This booklet presents boht the Additive Model for Time Series data and the Least Squares Method for the calculations. There are also two exemplars. These are internal assessments that both received excellence for their writers. It gives you an example of how to structure an excellent internal assessment survery. -
Family Maths
